Viterra Australia/NZ

Viterra is one of Canada’s largest agribusinesses. With a market capitalisation of US$6billion, Canada’s largest grain handling and agriproducts retail system, and international operations in Japan, Singapore and Geneva, Viterra is a global leviathan.

Viterra most recently acquired Australian & New Zealand company ABB Grain, a leading Australian agribusiness. As part of the acquisition, ABB Grain was required to rebrand their existing website abb.com.au to bring it in to line with Viterra’s brand image.

ABB Grain identified the rebranding as an opportunity to restructure the way information was presented on the website. Lithe partnered with SeeSaw to create a site that would enable people to access company and grain information in an informative and user-friendly way.

With a very tight three-week deadline, we developed the following features:

  • A skeleton website that enabled the client to start populating the site with final content before the creative was delivered
  • A customised document management system.

Over the course of this project, Lithe also provided the following services:

  • Conversion of creative into valid XHTML
  • Design integration
  • CMS integration
  • Development of custom features
  • Page level SEO and search engine registration
  • Training
  • Maintenance and support.

The result is a website that provides enhanced functionality, easier access to information and a sleek new look. Thanks to Lithe’s online training website training.lithe.net.au, ABB Grain was able to populate much of the site via the CMS well before the first face-to-face intensive CMS training session took place, ensuring the project was delivered on time and with all new content available from launch day.
